2009 Luckystone White

Luckystone White’s complex and savory blend has a fruity, spicy nose of peach, orange blossom and honey. A sip reveals generous flavors of ripe summer fruit sweetness followed by a balanced and lingering fresh fruit finish. Roasted and barbecue chicken and pork dishes will provide a perfect pairing.
Riesling was harvested on November 10, 2009 (22.4 Brix, Ta 9.8 g/L, pH 2.86). The settled juice was fermented cool, and then fermented, which stopped on January 1, 2010 at 1.7% residual sugar. Pinot Gris was harvested on October 3, 2009 (21 Brix, Ta 7.8 g/L, pH 3.08). The clear juice was fermented for 12 days and then stopped at 0.6% RS. Chardonnay was harvested on October 15, 2009 (19.7 Brix, Ta 8.7 g/L, pH 2.99). The settled juice was fermented in stainless steel, with full malolactic fermentation and weekly lees stirring. Muscat grapes were harvested on October 16, 2009 (18.7 Brix, Ta 7.2 g/L, pH 2.97). The blend was assembled on March 4, 2010.
