Tasting Notes

Perfumed grapefruit, lime and pear permeates an intricate, angular structure.

Winemaker Notes

Harvest of 1.9 tons took place on November 9, 2009 with 90% coming from block R3 grapes and 10% from R2. These had an average harvest chemistry of 23 Brix, a TA of 10.6 g/L, and a pH of 2.85. All of the fruit was wholecluster pressed in a single lot. The Dry Riesling fermented for 29 days and was racked off the fermentation lees two weeks after the fermentation was stopped, and cold stabilized by chilling for 2.5 months.
