2010 Pinot Gris

Clear pale lemon in color, this Pinot Gris has soft notes of floral pear, lemon and candied grapefruit. Light in body with a silky a texture leading to wet stone and soft stone fruit on the finish.
Harvest of the Pinot Gris began on September 14, 2010 with harvest chemistry of 21.9 Brix, a TA of 5.4 g/L, and a pH of 3.29. It was crushed, de-stemmed, pressed to 3 tanks where it settled overnight. After being racked off the juice lees and combined in a single tank, it fermented for 17 days.
A lovely un-oaked wine that will pair well with a wide variety of foods.
